EVREY

EVREY was a Solana-based project that set out to make memecoin discovery and trading feel as effortless as scrolling through TikTok. Launched in May 2025 under the tagline "Trade EVREYthing, TikTok-style," it proposed a vertical-scroll, short-form interface for surfacing and trading memecoins on Solana, borrowing the attention-capture mechanics of social video to lower the barrier for mainstream, or "web2," users entering on-chain markets.

The Concept

The core pitch was that discovering memecoins was too hard for everyday users. Existing tools — terminal dashboards, DEX aggregators, on-chain scanners — require familiarity with wallet mechanics, token addresses, and liquidity concepts that most people outside crypto never acquire. EVREY wanted to paper over that complexity with a feed-based interface: tokens presented visually, one at a time, with simple buy actions embedded in the flow, much as TikTok presents videos without requiring users to understand content delivery networks.

The X account for the project (@evreydotfun) framed the mission explicitly around onboarding "massive web2 users" to Solana, positioning EVREY as a consumer-facing bridge between social-native audiences and on-chain trading. The emphasis was on accessibility over depth — the goal was volume of new participants, not sophistication of execution.

The project self-described its token as a "memecoins discovery" instrument, suggesting the EVREY token itself was meant to function within this ecosystem, presumably as a utility or governance layer for the discovery platform, though specifics were never formally documented in public materials.

The EVREY Token

The EVREY token launched on pump.fun in September 2025, approximately four months after the project's stated founding date. A total supply of roughly 999.67 million tokens was issued, with the entire supply in circulation from the outset — a structure typical of pump.fun launches, which do not reserve allocations for team vesting, ecosystem grants, or future fundraising rounds.

At peak, the token reached a market cap of approximately $9,900 in early 2026. By September 2026 — one year after launch — market cap had fallen to roughly $2,300, daily trading volume had collapsed to under $2, and on-chain liquidity stood at $4,100. Holder concentration told its own story: the top ten addresses controlled more than 92% of the total supply, with no evidence of broad retail distribution.

What Happened

No verifiable product shipped. The evrey.fun website resolves but displays only a title and tagline; no app, no documentation, no protocol, no whitepaper, and no product changelog are accessible. The social accounts, while active in late 2025, have gone quiet in the months since, with no new posts visible in recent windows.

The broader context matters here. EVREY was one of many projects in 2025 that tried to apply social-media UX patterns to Solana's fast, cheap token ecosystem. The period from mid-2024 through early 2026 saw a wave of TikTok-inspired, swipe-to-trade, and feed-based memecoin interfaces attempt to crack retail adoption. Most stalled at the concept stage. Building a genuinely usable consumer-grade product on top of a volatile, permissionless chain requires solving wallet onboarding, key management, regulatory questions, and real-time data pipelines simultaneously — a much heavier lift than the short-form format itself implies.

The pump.fun launch mechanism also tends to work against long-term platform projects. Tokens minted there typically serve speculative narratives over short windows; without a product delivering continuous utility, token holders have little reason to hold through a multi-month development cycle, and price decay sets in quickly.

Current Status

EVREY shows no signs of active development or operation as of September 2026. The token trades with negligible volume, the website is effectively empty, and the social presence has gone dormant. The project did not announce a formal shutdown or communicate any pivot, but by all measurable indicators — trading activity, social engagement, website content, and on-chain data — it is no longer operational.

The concept EVREY was built around — simplifying memecoin discovery for mainstream users through a social-native interface — remains a genuine unsolved problem in the Solana ecosystem. The challenge of turning it into a durable product is one that remains open for others to attempt.
