Elixir Launchpad
Elixir Launchpad is an ecosystem for incubating Web3 games. It offers a tier system with exclusive rewards, game allocations, cashback, and ecosystem airdrops through an IDO format.
Elixir Game Launcher
Elixir Game Launcher is a platform for discovering, purchasing, and playing Web3 games. It supports auto-updates, cross-platform compatibility, and integrates NFT and wallet features, catering to both gamers and developers.
Elixir Games
Elixir Games is a web3 gaming distribution platform that pairs a downloadable PC game launcher with a blockchain-native launchpad, aiming to make on-chain gaming accessible to mainstream players while giving game studios a structured pathway to launch and distribute tokenized titles. Its native ELIX token—an SPL token deployed on Solana Mainnet—anchors the platform's access controls, staking rewards, and on-chain governance.
The Launcher: A Steam-Style Client for Web3
The flagship product is a downloadable PC client that functions as a web3-native equivalent of mainstream launchers such as Steam or Epic Games. The launcher aggregates more than 150 partnered game titles spanning multiple blockchains—Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Sui—and presents them through a unified, familiar interface. Players can register, browse, download, and play without requiring prior knowledge of blockchain mechanics. The platform supports both fiat payments via Stripe and on-chain cryptocurrency payments, lowering the barrier for users who are new to self-custodial wallets.
As of mid-2025, the platform had surpassed 500,000 registered users. The team released the Elixir Launcher v2 Beta in June 2025, described as a faster experience with improved staking and wallet integration baked directly into the client.
Launchpad and Incubation Program
Elixir's second major product is its Launchpad, an on-chain IDO/IGO (initial game offering) platform through which new web3 game projects can raise funds and distribute tokens to early supporters. The Launchpad operates on a five-tier system: participants stake ELIX tokens and receive tier placement based on staking amount and lock-up duration. Higher tiers receive priority allocation, larger guaranteed positions, and earlier access to new game token sales. Users who have not staked ELIX cannot participate in Launchpad sales.
Complementing the Launchpad is the Elixir Incubation Program, which works with game developers earlier in their project lifecycle to help projects meet technical and quality standards before a public offering. The program is designed to ensure that games listed on the Launchpad have reached a defined baseline of production readiness, rather than launching tokens ahead of a playable product.
ELIX Token
ELIX is the native SPL token on Solana Mainnet with a maximum and total supply of 1.5 billion tokens. The IDO ran on May 29-30, 2024, at a sale price of $0.039 per token. The reported token allocation breaks down as follows: Private Round 1 (10%), Private Round 2 (7.7%), Team (17%), Ecosystem rewards (32.7%), IDO (2.3%), with the remainder spread across advisory, liquidity, and marketing.
The token is designed with a deflationary bias through utility-driven burn mechanics. Key use cases include:
- Launchpad access: Only staked ELIX holders can participate in Launchpad IDOs and IGOs, making staking a prerequisite for early-stage game investment
- Tiered staking APY: Staking rewards scale with tier level, incentivizing longer lock-up periods
- Governance: ELIX holders vote on which new games are incubated or launched on the platform
- Exclusive airdrops: Tier holders receive airdrops from games distributed through the Elixir portfolio
- Premium features: Access to seasonal events, early access campaigns, and exclusive in-game content
Ecosystem and Partnerships
Elixir's multichain positioning has generated a range of studio and protocol partnerships. A notable collaboration with Ava Labs brought RoboKiden—a third-person shooter acquired from Breach Studios—onto the platform, using Avalanche infrastructure for on-chain asset management. RoboKiden launched with its own KIDEN token in mid-2024. The platform has also partnered with Yield Guild Games (YGG) and hosted titles from Immutable (Hellmaster, which ranked first on the Elixir platform in July 2025), KOKODI Games, and Epoch Games (Atlus Cards).
On the enterprise side, Elixir offers white-label distribution tooling that allows game studios to leverage the Elixir launcher infrastructure under their own branding, creating an additional B2B revenue layer alongside marketplace fees, in-app purchase commissions, and subscription passes.
The platform also runs a Season Pass program that rewards players for time spent across titles in the catalog, using prize pools and partner rewards to drive retention.
Team and Background
Elixir Games was co-founded by Carlos Roldan (CEO) and Carlos Borlado (COO), with Carlos de la Orden joining as CTO in 2021 to lead backend platform development. The company has roots in Barcelona, Spain and has since established a presence in San Francisco. A notable acquisition was LitLab Games, a Spanish studio that developed the auto-chess title CyberTitans, adding proprietary IP and internal game development capability to the company's otherwise infrastructure-focused portfolio.
Funding and Institutional Backing
Elixir closed a $14 million seed round announced in March 2024, part of a total funding base of approximately $20 million. Backers include Square Enix (publisher of the Final Fantasy series), the Solana Foundation, Shima Capital, and Sino Global Capital. Square Enix's participation reflects a broader engagement with the web3 gaming sector: the publisher has stated it views Elixir as a vehicle for introducing Web3 gaming concepts to its traditional player base, though the investment relationship is non-exclusive—Square Enix has also backed competing platform HyperPlay.
Solana Ecosystem Fit
Elixir's primary on-chain footprint lives on Solana Mainnet. Both the Blockchain Gaming Infrastructure program and the Launchpad contract are deployed as SPL programs. The Solana Foundation's direct seed investment reflects strategic alignment: Elixir brings consumer-facing game distribution to a chain better known for DeFi and high-frequency trading. By pairing a launcher-first user experience with Solana's transaction throughput and low fees, Elixir positions itself as a distribution layer that can grow Solana's gaming user base beyond the existing DeFi-native audience.
