CryptoMate

CryptoMate is an API-first, non-custodial fintech infrastructure platform that connects local payment rails to global stablecoin settlements through a single programmable API, with Solana as a core supported blockchain for USDC and EURC transactions.

Core Mechanism

CryptoMate operates as SaaS middleware between businesses and the blockchain layer, providing non-custodial infrastructure for transmitting orders via electronic money tokens. Rather than holding customer funds in custody, the platform generates unique multi-blockchain wallet addresses per user and routes funds programmatically through configurable cash-in and cash-out rules. A single API surface unifies local payment networks — including SPEI in Mexico, PIX in Brazil, SEPA in Europe, and US bank rails — with on-chain settlement across Ethereum, Polygon PoS, and Solana. The company describes this as making "global financial infrastructure with access, logic and real impact," connecting local payments with international settlements without requiring businesses to manage bank relationships, card networks, or blockchain integrations independently.

Key Products

Treasury is CryptoMate's operational control center, where businesses configure money flows, multi-blockchain addresses, webhooks, and compliance rules. It enables cross-border, programmable, multi-currency instant settlements and serves as the hub for capital centralization and automated payment flows.

Cards are virtual and physical VISA-branded instruments issued through CryptoMate's decentralized credit card program. Businesses can define spending limits, cashback configurations, and card eligibility by user segment. Cards support Apple Pay and Google Pay and can be funded directly from stablecoin balances held on-chain. CryptoMate describes its card product as enabling "decentralized credit card programs" for B2B customers who want to offer branded payment cards without running a card program internally.

Connectivity APIs embed financial functionality directly into messaging channels — WhatsApp, Telegram, and SMS — converting them into financial terminals capable of handling balance inquiries, transfers, and payments without requiring a standalone application.

Bank Ramp Integration provides on-ramp and off-ramp services linking users to US ACH, SPEI, SEPA, and PIX rails, enabling fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat conversions within the same API call.

Tokens and Assets

CryptoMate's primary settlement assets are USDC and EURC — both Circle-issued regulated stablecoins. The platform supports these across Ethereum, Polygon PoS, and Solana, with API endpoints exposing token listings by blockchain and cross-chain balance aggregation. This gives businesses a unified view of stablecoin holdings regardless of the underlying network, and positions the platform squarely within Circle's stablecoin ecosystem.

AI Compatibility

A notable design choice is explicit AI-agent compatibility. CryptoMate's APIs are built to be callable by major AI engines including OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini, enabling AI agents to query balances, initiate transfers, construct hedging strategies, and enforce compliance rules through natural language-triggered actions — an architecture increasingly relevant as autonomous AI agents gain adoption in financial workflows.

Regulatory Standing and Partnerships

CryptoMate operates under FinCEN Money Services Business Registration (No. 31000318247837) and partners with regulated institutions for custody, execution, and settlement rather than acting as a bank itself. It is a verified member of the Circle Alliance partner network, reflecting its USDC-native infrastructure posture. The platform is also listed on SAP's Web3Hub partner directory, making it accessible to enterprise SAP customers and is described as the first Web3 infrastructure available on the SAP App Store. The company has received media coverage in Forbes Argentina and La Nación and was selected for EY's entrepreneurship program.

Team and Background

Founded in 2021 and operating with Latin American roots — its X account is @CryptoMateLatam — CryptoMate targets active markets in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Guatemala, alongside North America and Europe. The platform is explicitly B2B, serving developers, enterprises, and financial service providers rather than direct retail users.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Solana is one of three blockchains natively supported by CryptoMate's infrastructure, and the platform's tagline states it directly: "One API for global payments, wallets, and cards on Solana and beyond." For Solana-focused builders, CryptoMate offers a compliance-ready, USDC-native payment layer that handles the fintech plumbing — card issuance, local bank rails, treasury management, and on/off-ramp connectivity — without requiring direct card network or banking relationships. It targets the gap between on-chain settlement speed and the fiat-denominated world of payroll, remittances, and consumer card payments, using Solana's throughput and low transaction cost as the settlement backbone for real-world financial flows.
