Aimonica Brands

Aimonica Brands is an AI agent project on Solana with its own meme coin, AIMONICA. It launched in late 2024 with a plan to run a fund that picks its bets by meme culture. The project now looks inactive. Its website is offline, and its X account went quiet in late 2025. The AIMONICA token still exists, and a few people still trade it on Solana.

The name is a play on Animoca Brands, the gaming investor. The two are separate. Aimonica's team called the project a "playful parody" and said it was its own team.

What happened to Aimonica Brands

Aimonica Brands has been silent for about a year. Its last two posts on X came in October 2025. They announced a new staking product. Nothing has come since, and the website that hosted the product is offline.

The timeline, from sources we could read:

  • November 2024: the project and the AIMONICA token launch on Solana.
  • 15 January 2025: Binance adds Aimonica to its Binance Alpha list of early-stage tokens, alongside GRIFT and VitaDAO, CoinEdition reported.
  • 14 October 2025: the team announces "the next era of Aimonica", a staking platform on its website.
  • 20 October 2025: a long follow-up post explains the new model. It is the last post on the account.
  • 13 October 2026: the website refuses connections on every address we tried.

The Grid, a crypto project directory, lists Aimonica Brands as inactive and both of its products as discontinued. We found no shutdown notice from the team, so the project went quiet without one.

AIMONICA coin and the AC fund token

AIMONICA is the project's meme coin on Solana. It has a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens. It was a fair launch: there was no private sale, and every token was unlocked from day one, CoinMarketCap's listing says. The launch went through Pump.fun and vvaifu vvaifu$0.00025-1.9%, a Solana site for making AI agents that each come with a token.

The token is AIMONICA. CoinMarketCap lists Raydium RAY$1.82-2.5% as its main market. It shows no listing on a big exchange. Binance Alpha is a list of new tokens inside Binance's wallet app. A place on it is not the same as a listing on the main Binance exchange.

A second token, AC, stood for Aimonica Capital, the project's fund. Gate's explainer says the fund was to launch through DAOs.fun and to back small tokens, those worth less than $20 million.

The team's early plan had two more parts, per BingX's write-up. All fund fees would go to buying back AIMONICA. About $1 million of tokens would be locked for a year. We found no public record that any buybacks took place.

Proof of meme: how the Aimonica AI fund was meant to work

Aimonica's first pitch was a venture fund run by an AI agent. The agent would score projects on "proof of meme", a measure of how well an idea spreads online and how engaged its community is. The team argued this was a better guide to crypto returns than the checks a traditional investor runs.

In practice, you would have held AIMONICA for a say in the planned investment DAO, or AC for a share of the fund itself. BingX's write-up mentions a collaboration with the ai16z DAO and use of its agent software, ElizaOS ai16z$0.00033-7.9%. The meme tracking tools and the DAO were both described as planned. We could not find evidence that either shipped.

Social Proof of Stake: the 2025 staking pivot

In October 2025 Aimonica changed direction, from an AI fund to a staking and points platform it called Social Proof of Stake. You would lock supported AI tokens on its website and earn points based on the amount and the lock time. Points were meant to unlock allocations in partner token launches, airdrops and other perks.

The team's posts laid out three phases. Multi-token staking was described as live. A content rewards layer and a launchpad were to follow. The posts named KAITO, aixbt, Pengu and ai16z among the supported tokens, and said funds could be withdrawn free at the end of a lock or early for a small fee.

There are no updates after that. With the website offline, we could not confirm how much was staked, whether the later phases launched, or how anyone who staked can withdraw.

Who Aimonica Brands was for

Aimonica Brands was built for people who traded AI agent tokens in the late 2024 boom. Later it aimed at holders of those tokens who wanted early access to new launches. You can't use either product now.

This page is most useful if you still hold AIMONICA or AC and want to know where the project stands. It also helps if you are looking back at how the AI agent wave played out.

Is AIMONICA safe? Risks of an inactive project

AIMONICA carries the risks of a token whose team has gone quiet. No one is posting updates. The website is down. The products tied to the token are not running.

  • Thin trading. Only a few trades a day went through when we checked in October 2026, so a modest sale can move the price a long way. Live figures are in the data on this page.
  • No audit found. The team's October 2025 post called its staking contracts "auditable", but we found no published audit report for them. CoinMarketCap displayed a CertiK security score of about 3 out of 10 for the token in October 2026.
  • Staked funds. If you locked tokens in the 2025 staking product, the site you would use to withdraw is offline. We could not check who controls those contracts or whether they can be changed.
  • Unnamed team. None of the sources we read name the people behind the project.
  • Lookalike name. Animoca Brands' chairman Yat Siu mentioned Aimonica on X, per Gate's explainer, and the team said Animoca was an early supporter. The team also said it was independent. A similar name is no guarantee of backing.

If the website or the X account comes back, treat any new link with care and check it against the project's long-standing account before connecting a wallet.
