Tencent, Toyota, and Sony Head On-Chain as Pyth Network Completes Asian Equity Expansion
Pyth Network launched 100+ Hong Kong and Japan equity feeds on Pyth Pro. Tencent, Toyota, and Sony are among the live names, with 450+ feeds targeted.
Pyth Network PYTH$0.039-2.3% launched real-time price feeds for more than 100 Hong Kong equities and a full Japanese equity slate on Pyth Pro on July 30, completing the Asian leg of its institutional data expansion. The addition of Hong Kong and Japan, alongside mainland China and South Korean feeds announced in parallel, means Pyth Pro now delivers on-chain pricing for the four major Asian equity markets under a single subscription contract.
Which Hong Kong and Japan Stocks Are Now Live on Pyth Pro
The Hong Kong batch covers more than 100 listings, including Tencent, Alibaba, BYD, and Xiaomi, alongside benchmark instruments: the ChinaAMC CSI300 ETF and the FTSE China A50 ETF. Japan's slate covers Toyota, Sony, Nintendo, SoftBank, Tokyo Electron, Advantest, Keyence, Hitachi, Panasonic, Denso, MUFG, and Fast Retailing, per Pyth's August 1 confirmation.
Feeds price during local market sessions: Hong Kong and Shanghai hours for China-linked names, Tokyo hours for Japanese stocks. All feeds are available via REST, WebSocket, and on-chain delivery across 114 blockchains, through the same Pyth Pro integration used for US equities, FX, commodities, and fixed income.
The mainland China batch includes four STAR Market listings: Cambricon, GigaDevice, Montage Technology, and CXMT, the chipmaker for which Pyth delivered a day-one feed on the Shanghai IPO.
How the Asian Equities Package Works
Pyth Pro delivers the Asian equities through its existing integration framework, packaged alongside a catalogue of 3,059+ price feeds used by 711 apps, according to Pyth's website. Subscribers get one contract and one data format, with no separate regional licenses and no per-asset-class agreements. The Pyth Terminal is the access point; existing Pro subscribers can start integrating immediately.
TradeXYZ, the largest HIP-3 deployer on Hyperliquid, has already integrated the CXMT feed as an external pricing source during regular market hours, an early indication of demand for Asian equity data from institutional on-chain venues.
The network's publisher base includes 120+ financial institutions (exchanges, market makers, and trading firms) supplying first-party pricing directly to the network. That structure, rather than a single aggregator, is what allows Pyth to cover regional market sessions with the same feed format as its global asset classes.
Pyth Targets 450+ Asian Equity Feeds, With India Next on the Roadmap
The current 100+ Asian equity feeds are a first tranche. Pyth targets 450+ total feeds across the four Asian markets, with India identified as the next geography. The broader expansion builds on Pyth's recent RWA data push, which has added crude oil indices, fixed income publishers Fenics and Tradeweb, and Nasdaq TotalView data over the past two months, a trajectory our ongoing Pyth RWA oracle coverage tracks in detail.
