Seeker Summer Round 4 Goes Live With Mesh Mining, Mobile Gaming, and DeFi: Deadline August 26

Solana Mobile kicked off Seeker Summer Round 4 on August 21, the campaign's final leg, adding four apps to the Solana dApp Store and setting a hard close of August 26 at 2pm UTC to complete all eight quests.

The apps are MINE by Offline Protocol, Mattlefun, Bakeland, and backyard.fi. They cover four distinct categories: a peer-to-peer mesh-network node, a mobile survival game, a crypto MMORPG, and a multi-vault DeFi yield builder.

Round 4 Apps and What Each Quest Requires

MINE by Offline Protocol converts a Seeker into a relay node in a decentralized mesh network that routes data over Bluetooth and WiFi Direct without requiring an internet connection. Its two quests follow the app's core loop: link a Seed Vault Wallet ("Signal Found"), then actively mine the mesh network for ten consecutive minutes ("Start Digging").

Mattlefun is a mobile survival game. The first quest links a Seed Vault Wallet ("Power Up"); the second asks players to survive longer than six minutes in Normal mode ("Mattle Run").

Bakeland is a pixel MMORPG in pre-alpha that gives Seeker holders access ahead of the project's general waitlist. Its quests send players through a ramen delivery run to hit a score of 10 against a timer ("Ramen Run"), then through a retrieval mission to return Prof. Wassie's dimensional artifacts and claim an in-game item called the Quantum Cloak ("Through the Wormhole").

Rounding out the four is backyard.fi, a mobile-native DeFi yield strategy builder. Participants sign in and create an initial allocation ("Fire Up the Grill"), then add a second vault ("Diversify").

All eight quests are live now in the Solana dApp Store. Completions award collectible badges stored in the Seed Vault Wallet and the dApp Store profile, timestamped to the app and quest.

Seeker Summer by the Numbers: 81M SKR Across Three Prior Rounds

Seeker Summer launched July 7 and runs through August 30, structured as four two-week rounds featuring 16 apps in total, per Solana Mobile's program overview. Rounds 1 and 2 distributed 52 million SKR combined (25 million and 27 million respectively) per Solana Mobile's mid-season recap, with more than half of Round 1's allocation staked voluntarily after claims opened. Round 3 added 29 million SKR, bringing the three-round cumulative total to 81 million, according to egamers.io. Solana Compass tracked 44,881 wallets holding SKR as of August 21.

Earlier round figures show real app usage. Round 1's Slimecoin added 8,661 users, logged 150,000 game matches, and generated $65,000 in cash-game volume within ten days of its dApp Store debut, per the same mid-season recap. Cube Crush, featured in Round 2, crossed 19,000 players, per the same recap.

No SKR allocation has been disclosed for Round 4. In a follow-up post on August 21, Solana Mobile wrote that "lots more work to do" remains for SKR, framing the campaign's close as a transition rather than a conclusion.
