MagicBlock Solana Blitz v6: 41 Mobile Apps, Three Winners, One Weekend
MagicBlock Solana Blitz v6 named three winners from 41 mobile apps: CapturGO (1st), Perps Rider (2nd), and Hunch (3rd), all powered by Ephemeral Rollups.
MagicBlock named the winners of Solana Blitz v6 on July 17, two days after 41 teams shipped mobile apps over a single weekend. It is the highest submission count in the series' seven-edition run and the first time the Blitz theme was explicitly mobile-first.
The weekend hackathon ran July 10โ12 with a 1,000 USDC prize pool split four ways: 500 USDC for first place, 250 USDC for second, 150 USDC for third, and 100 USDC for Wizardio's Choice. Solana Mobile and Blueshift co-sponsored the edition; Blueshift provided participants a Solana Mobile Mastery course as preparation material.
What Ephemeral Rollups Do
MagicBlock's Ephemeral Rollups are Solana-native execution environments that delegate account state from the base layer, process updates at sub-50ms speeds with zero fees, and commit the final state back on-chain at settlement. No bridge and no new token are required; the app's data lives on Solana SOL$75.53+0.6% at the end of every round. Private Ephemeral Rollups extend the model with Intel TDX-backed confidential computing, keeping transaction amounts and participants hidden until disclosure is intended. MagicBlock's VRF (verifiable randomness function) generates provably fair on-chain randomness for game mechanics that need it.
All three winning apps lean on at least one of these primitives.
First Place: CapturGO
CapturGO, built by the team behind Captur Labs, is a decentralized GPS navigation app that pays users for contributing location intelligence: traffic reports, road incidents, and points-of-interest data. The app is already live on iOS and Android, has a global ambassador network, and has partnered with HERE Technologies, the mapping platform used by major fleet operators.
The Blitz version adds a Private Ephemeral Rollup to the token reward flow: when users walk to a point of interest and claim tokens, amounts and recipient addresses route through a private execution environment so they remain confidential on-chain. The team described the approach as "privacy-first real-world data collection on Solana Mobile."
Second Place: Perps Rider
Perps Rider frames perpetuals trading as an arcade racing game. Players pick a market (BTC, ETH, or SOL), rev a tachometer to set leverage anywhere between 10ร and 3,000ร, then race against live prices until they bank the position or hit liquidation. Live price data comes from Pyth Lazer, Pyth Network PYTH$0.048-2.5%'s ultra-low-latency feed, which shapes the road in real time. Positions are tracked inside a MagicBlock Ephemeral Rollup; car upgrades and crates unlock via MagicBlock VRF. A social layer called "The Strip" lets players drive a shared open world and show off their garage between sessions.
The site carries its own disclosure: "REAL SOL INVOLVES REAL RISK. You can lose your play amount." The game is available as a Seeker APK alongside the browser client.
Third Place: Hunch
Hunch, from builder @priyanshudotsol, is a stake-and-climb game: players slice through rows of fruit without hitting the bust line, with each slice signed directly from the phone into an Ephemeral Rollup. Rows resolve on MagicBlock VRF. The developer is a two-time Blitz winner, having placed in a previous edition of the series.
Additional Awards
Loofta Pot from @lisabeyy received an honorable mention for building a private lottery for Solana Mobile using Private Ephemeral Rollups, the same privacy layer behind Loofta Pay. VeilMarket by @usainbluntmx earned Wizardio's Choice (100 USDC) for private prediction markets around the 2026 World Cup: bets execute gaslessly inside an Ephemeral Rollup, stakes stay hidden in a Private Ephemeral Rollup, and markets resolve by VRF.
A Maturing Series
Solana Mobile replied directly in the announcement thread, reflecting tight collaboration between the two teams: v6's mobile focus was designed explicitly around the Seeker device and Solana Mobile's developer tooling.
MagicBlock reported that 240+ projects have now been built with its tooling across seven Blitz weekends since the series launched in February 2026. Submission counts climbed from 30 at v0 to 40 at v2 and v3, and reached 41 at v6. MagicBlock noted this was "the first mobile-themed Blitz", a deliberate turn toward consumer-facing apps on Solana Mobile hardware after earlier editions focused on DeFi trading and general infrastructure.
Teams that want to keep building after the hackathon can apply to MagicBlock Forge, a rolling-admission acceleration program offering weekly engineering and growth sessions for teams shipping on MagicBlock Mainnet. The most advanced teams may be invited to the MagicBlock Hacker House for in-person support around partnerships and fundraising.
As we covered in Flash Trade V2's launch in late June, MagicBlock's Ephemeral Rollup infrastructure is already running in production on a live perpetuals exchange with sub-50ms execution. Blitz v6 shows what the same tooling produces when handed to a broader developer pool over 48 hours: a location intelligence app with an existing partner in HERE Technologies, a live-price arcade game with real financial exposure, and a VRF-resolved mobile game. All three route their hottest execution through an off-base-layer environment and commit final state back to Solana at settlement.
