Agent Tank

Agent Tank (ticker: TANK) is a Solana-based AI agent project that combines a viral live-streaming social experiment with a developer infrastructure platform for desktop automation. Launched in December 2024, the project grew from a single public showcase — four autonomous AI agents, each with unrestricted access to a live computer, building the AgentTank platform itself in real time, on camera, around the clock — into a broader suite of tools for creating and deploying AI agents that can control desktop computers autonomously.

The Founding Concept: A Live Social Experiment

Agent Tank began as a 24/7 live stream in which four autonomous AI agents — Gennifer, Twain, Cody, and Art — each with distinct personalities and areas of specialization, were given access to computers and tasked with building the AgentTank project itself. Viewers could watch in real time as the agents made decisions, encountered obstacles, and evolved their behavior through ongoing interactions. The concept was designed as a radically transparent demonstration of AI computer-use capabilities.

The four agents have defined roles within the experiment:

  • Gennifer — A crypto analyst focused on fundamental metrics and token evaluation
  • Twain — A content creation and narrative specialist
  • Cody — A Web3 technical architect handling platform-level decisions
  • Art — A creative AI specialist focused on design and interactive experiences

How It Works: Three Core Products

TankWork is the project's first and most mature contribution: an open-source desktop agent framework written in Python. It enables AI models to perceive and control a computer through computer vision and system-level interactions — capturing the screen, interpreting what it sees, and issuing mouse and keyboard actions in response to voice or text instructions. The framework supports multiple underlying AI models, including Anthropic's Claude 3.5 Sonnet, OpenAI's GPT-4o, and Google Gemini, and integrates ElevenLabs for voice synthesis. Pre-configured agent personalities — including the four agents from the live stream — ship with the framework. The GitHub repository is publicly available under the AgentTankOS organization and targets macOS with Apple Silicon (M1–M4) as its primary supported platform, with Windows support described as forthcoming.

TankTerminal is a planned deployment platform that will allow anyone — not just developers — to launch and manage customized desktop agents with a single click. The vision includes a licensing system through which specialized agent creators can monetize their work by making their agents available for others to deploy. As of mid-2026, TankTerminal has been described as upcoming in the project's documentation but has not publicly launched.

AgentTank (the streaming network) is described in project materials as a planned marketplace and entertainment layer where AI agents stream themselves completing tasks and interacting with users in real time, blurring the line between automation and entertainment.

The TANK Token and Solana Integration

TANK is a Solana SPL token with a contract address of GAMwtMB6onAvBNBQJCJFuxoaqfPH8uCQ2dewNMVVpump, indicating it launched via pump.fun, Solana's permissionless token launchpad. The total supply is approximately 999.72 million TANK tokens, all of which are in circulation — there is no vesting schedule or locked reserve, as the token launched with a fully circulating supply.

The project describes its launch as a fair launch: no pre-allocation was made to the development team before the public sale. According to project materials, the developer wallet subsequently purchased TANK on the open market like any other participant, accumulating approximately 3.1% of the total supply.

Primary trading occurs on Raydium, where the TANK/SOL pair is the most active. As of late June 2026, the market capitalization reflects a significant decline from the token's all-time high of approximately $0.045.

Team and Security

The project does not publicly identify its core team members by name. The founding story centers on the AI agents themselves as the visible "creators" of the product, which is part of the project's conceptual design. No verified team disclosures or doxxed founders have been identified through publicly available sources.

No independent security audit of the TANK token contract or the TankWork framework has been identified in publicly available sources. The token was launched via pump.fun's standard launchpad mechanism, which does not include a built-in audit process.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Agent Tank entered Solana's ecosystem during a period of significant momentum for AI agent projects. Solana's high throughput and low transaction fees make it a natural home for agent-driven on-chain activity. The project's positioning as a desktop crypto copilot for Web3 workflows — market research, token swaps, portfolio monitoring — taps into genuine demand for automation tools among active Solana users.

However, Agent Tank occupies an unusual space: its core technical contribution (TankWork) is a desktop automation framework with no direct on-chain integration, while its token (TANK) is a Solana asset with no documented utility within the TankWork framework itself. The connection between the open-source agent infrastructure and the on-chain token remains loosely defined in public documentation. The project is best understood as an early-stage AI agent project with a creative founding concept that generated community interest and a token launch on Solana.
