iNTC: Backpack Securities' Tokenized Intel Stock on Solana

Sunrise and Backpack Securities listed iNTC on Solana on July 21, two days before the Q2 report. Backpack's listing was explicit about the timing: Intel was scheduled to report that Thursday after market close, and iNTC holders would be able to "react to the release immediately, without waiting for Nasdaq to reopen."

Each iNTC token is redeemable 1:1 for an underlying Intel share held in custody. The structure is built for corporate action eligibility, including dividends and stock splits, under New York's UCC Article 8. Tokens are also transferable to traditional brokerages after redemption. The token trades on Backpack Exchange, Raydium, Jupiter, Phantom, and Solflare, among others. What 24/7 Trading Looks Like When Earnings Move Markets

US equity markets close at 4:00 PM Eastern. Extended-hours trading is available on some brokerage platforms, but access and liquidity vary significantly by broker. On Solana, iNTC was trading continuously. By 20:07 UTC, seven minutes after Nasdaq's close, Intel's results were public and iNTC had already moved higher on-chain.

The on-chain volume that followed tells the cleaner story. Pre-earnings, iNTC carried approximately $199,000 in on-chain liquidity with roughly $14,600 in daily volume, according to CryptoBriefing. In the 24 hours surrounding the July 23 earnings event, on-chain volume reached $714,621 across 8,863 trades from 386 unique wallets, against a circulating supply of 6,291 iNTC, per Solana Compass data.

Wallet holders expanded in parallel. Solana Compass holder data shows 62 wallets holding iNTC on July 22, rising to 80 by earnings day and 104 by July 24, a 68% increase in three days spanning the Intel result.

The mechanism here is narrow but concrete. A single share of Intel, minted as an on-chain token, has no market-hours restriction. When earnings drop at 4:00 PM Eastern and Nasdaq closes until the following morning, any iNTC holder on Solana can trade through that window. That gap, for quarterly earnings releases, is typically when the most important price discovery happens.

Where This Fits in Solana's Tokenized Equity Infrastructure

Backpack Securities built iNTC on its Sunrise tokenization infrastructure, which went live in June 2026. Monthly tokenized securities volume on the platform reached approximately $1.5 billion, with a peak daily figure exceeding $187 million in mid-June, according to CryptoBriefing. Intel joins a lineup that has expanded steadily since Sunrise launched.

The Intel earnings event is one data point for a thesis that Backpack has been building toward from the start. Tokenized equities on Solana compete on access and timing. The access case is the easier one to make: investors without easy brokerage relationships in traditional markets get a route into US stocks. The timing case only becomes demonstrable when a high-stakes event happens on schedule, the infrastructure is already live, and on-chain trading data can show whether holders used it. July 23 provided that test.
