Whisp

Whisp (branded online as Whispers and accessible at whsprs.ai) is an AI-powered Web3 companion built on the Solana blockchain. Launched in January 2025 via a fair-launch model on Pump.fun, the platform positions itself as a natural-language interface for cryptocurrency management — a "ChatGPT for crypto" that lets users buy, send, swap, and manage digital assets through conversational commands rather than through traditional exchange interfaces or self-custody dashboards.

How It Works

At the core of Whisp is the Whispers Protocol, a multi-agent orchestration layer that routes user requests to the most suitable AI agent available in real time. When a user initiates a task — say, a token swap or a wallet-to-wallet transfer — the protocol evaluates all agents registered within the system and selects the optimal one for that specific task, even when multiple agents offer overlapping functionality. This dynamic dispatch is designed to reduce single-point-of-failure risk and improve execution quality across different operation types.

On the front end, users interact with Whisp through a chat interface. Text (and potentially voice) commands are parsed and translated into blockchain operations, which the selected agent then executes. The system handles the complexity of interacting with Solana programs, signing transactions, and querying on-chain state, all behind a conversational UI.

Key Features

AI Chat Interface. The flagship product is a chat window where users can issue plain-language instructions — "buy $50 of SOL," "send 10 USDC to @username," "show me my portfolio" — and receive execution confirmations rather than navigating multi-step exchange flows.

X-Handle Token Transfers. A notable feature enables users to send tokens directly to any X (formerly Twitter) username, regardless of whether the recipient has a crypto wallet. The Whisp agent detects wallet ownership and, when none exists, creates a custodial account for the new user so funds can be claimed later. This frictionless onboarding mechanism is designed to lower the barrier for Web2 users entering the Solana ecosystem.

Gasless USDC Transactions. Whisp introduced zero-fee stablecoin transfers, removing the need for users to hold SOL for transaction fees when sending USDC — a common friction point for new crypto users.

Agent Marketplace. The platform includes an open marketplace where developers can upload and monetize their own Web3 agents. This positions Whispers as an infrastructure layer rather than just an end-user app: third-party builders can contribute specialized agents (for DeFi strategies, NFT operations, data lookups, etc.) and earn fees when the protocol selects their agents for user requests.

Magic Button SDK. Developers can embed Web3 orchestration directly into their own applications using the Magic Button SDK, a one-click integration tool. This allows any app to offer Whisp-powered AI agent functionality without building the orchestration layer from scratch.

iOS SDK. An official iOS SDK (available on GitHub under the whsprs organization) enables native integration of the Whisp agent into iOS and macOS applications. Built on Swift, it uses an async event-driven architecture, exposing methods for text messaging, transaction handling, and event listening. The SDK was in alpha as of early 2025.

Solana Mobile dApp Store. Whisp was listed on the Solana Mobile dApp Store as of February 2025, making it accessible to Saga and Seeker hardware users with a mobile-native experience.

Supported Assets

The platform explicitly supports SOL and USDC, with token swapping functionality implying support for a broader range of Solana-based SPL tokens. The platform also targets memecoin traders, suggesting integration with tokens tradable on Solana DEXes such as Raydium and Pump.fun.

The WHISP Token

The WHISP token (contract address: whispF7G9DHaojYHe2cdhRX5EMJzGBdqq7R57kL6inL) is the native utility and governance asset of the ecosystem, issued on Solana as an SPL token. It has a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 (one billion) tokens, with nearly all of that supply in circulation. The token launched on Pump.fun with a stated fair-launch design — no presale allocations, no insider advantages, and no team reserves at launch.

Token holders may participate in governance decisions affecting the platform's direction and future development. The token also serves as a mechanism for rewarding community contributors and incentivizing developers who build agents for the marketplace.

Team and Transparency

Whisp's team is anonymous or pseudonymous; no named founders, executives, or advisors are publicly identified in official materials, documentation, or the project's social channels. The project launched with zero social media following and grew organically to more than 28,000 users and 10,000 community members within the first eleven days, according to figures the team shared publicly in January 2025.

Security and Audit Status

No third-party security audit reports are publicly available for Whisp's smart contracts or the Whispers Protocol orchestration layer. The iOS SDK is in alpha, with the project itself noting that public APIs are unstable and subject to breaking changes prior to a beta release.
