Unhosted is a self-custodial multi-chain wallet platform combined with an AI-driven crypto intelligence suite. The project operates across two closely related products — the Unhosted smart wallet, available as a browser extension and mobile app, and Unhosted AI, a subscription platform that routes user queries through eight specialized analytical agents. Solana is a supported chain across both products.

The Unhosted Smart Wallet

The core wallet eliminates the most common friction points in crypto self-custody. Users sign in with Apple, Google, X, Discord, or email — no seed phrase is required at onboarding. Keys are generated on the user's device and never transmitted to Unhosted servers. The wallet is built on the ERC-4337 account abstraction standard for EVM-compatible chains, which enables several capabilities that are impossible in traditional externally-owned accounts.

Gas abstraction is one of the headline features: users can pay transaction fees in any token they hold, with the wallet routing conversions automatically. Cross-chain movement is similarly abstracted — the platform handles bridging behind the scenes so users do not need to manually select bridges or manage native gas on each network. The wallet currently supports over 100 blockchains, including Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, and Polkadot, along with more than 10 million cryptocurrencies and 600 million NFTs.

A modules marketplace extends the wallet into active portfolio management. Users can access curated DeFi strategies — staking, lending, and yield farming — through integrations with Aave, 1inch, Bancor, Lido, Compound, Curve, and dYdX. Yield options in the marketplace range from approximately 1.5% to 43% APY depending on protocol and risk tier. Perpetual futures trading is also embedded directly in the wallet interface, with leverage up to 50x on more than 100 pairs; SOL/USD is among the available markets at up to 20x leverage.

A crypto debit card connected to a Swiss IBAN and Visa network allows users to spend from their self-custodial balance in everyday commerce. An iOS and Android widget delivers real-time market signals to the home screen without requiring the app to be opened. A Twitter/X integration lets users swap tokens directly from their social media timeline without leaving the platform.

Unhosted reports over 100,000 wallets generated across more than 20 countries since launch. Both the mobile apps and browser extension are currently in beta.

Unhosted AI

The companion platform at unhosted.ai positions itself as a research co-pilot for active traders. Eight specialized AI agents handle distinct domains: token analysis, wallet forensics, portfolio tracking, DeFi protocol evaluation, NFT analytics, token discovery and screening, trading strategy generation, and social sentiment intelligence. An intelligent routing layer directs each query to the most relevant agent or combination of agents.

The platform aggregates data from multiple providers including Moralis, Exa, TaaAPI, and YFinance. Solana is explicitly supported alongside Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BSC, and Arbitrum. Practical features include:

• Smart money tracking: identifies on-chain activity from wallets with strong historical performance
• Contract security scanning: automated honeypot detection and approval risk scoring
• Real-time P&L: portfolio tracking across chains using live on-chain data
• KOL intelligence: curated insights from notable crypto researchers and traders
• Custom strategy recommendations: token screening calibrated to user-defined risk tolerance and goals
• Token approval management: audit and revoke dangerous approvals across connected wallets

The platform advertises a seven-day free trial and claims more than 10,000 active traders. The AI orchestration layer is built on Python 3.11 and FastAPI with PostgreSQL and pgvector for storage, and uses the Agno framework for multi-agent coordination. The system supports multiple large language model backends including OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and xAI Grok.

Security and Audits

Unhosted has published two third-party security assessments. In November 2023, smart contract auditor vnmrtz (Victor Martinez) reviewed the Strategy Module smart contracts — covering implementations for Uniswap, Aave, Compound, and Lido — and declared them production-ready after the team resolved two high-severity findings and three medium-severity findings. In February 2025, Enigma Dark conducted a broader review of the browser extension, backend APIs, and infrastructure, identifying and resolving three high, three medium, two low, and two informational findings, with zero critical issues. A third audit covering the Recurring Execution Module is listed as forthcoming.

Key integration partners include Biconomy for account abstraction infrastructure, Hyperliquid for perpetual markets, Moralis for on-chain data, LI.FI for cross-chain routing, and Rhinestone for smart account modules.

Team and Token

Unhosted has not publicly disclosed its founders or team composition. No native token exists; the platform operates on subscription and transaction-fee revenue.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Unhosted addresses the onboarding and UX complexity that remains one of the primary barriers to Solana adoption. By aggregating Solana balances alongside EVM portfolios in a single self-custodial interface, the wallet lowers the practical cost of holding and transacting in SOL without requiring users to learn chain-specific tooling. The AI analysis layer extends this to Solana-native on-chain research, offering smart money tracking, contract risk signals, and token screening for traders navigating Solana's fast-moving token markets.
