StealthEX is a non-custodial cryptocurrency swap service launched in October 2018. The platform is built around a single operating principle: users should be able to exchange digital assets quickly, privately, and without handing control of their funds to a third party. It never takes custody of tokens at any stage of a transaction, and it requires no account registration, making it one of the longer-running services in the instant swap category.

How Exchanges Work

Every swap on StealthEX follows the same pattern. A user selects an input and output asset, chooses between floating and fixed pricing, and enters a destination wallet address. StealthEX generates a one-time deposit address for the input asset. Once the user sends funds to that address, StealthEX routes the exchange through liquidity from partner venues and delivers the output directly to the provided wallet. Most common pairs settle within five to ten minutes. The platform itself never appears as an intermediary custodian — funds move from the user's wallet to the user's wallet, with StealthEX acting only as the exchange coordination layer.

Rate Modes

StealthEX offers two pricing options for each swap:

Floating rate — the output amount is calculated at the moment the incoming transaction is confirmed on-chain. Market movements between the time of submission and the time of confirmation can cause slight deviations in the final amount, though most swaps settle within about one percent of the quoted estimate. Floating-rate swaps carry no upper limit on transaction size.

Fixed rate — the output amount is locked at the moment the user initiates the exchange, before any funds are sent. This eliminates rate risk during the confirmation window, though the quoted rate typically includes a wider spread to compensate for the price exposure StealthEX absorbs. Fixed rate is suited to larger swaps where predictability matters more than getting the tightest market price.

Asset Coverage

StealthEX lists support for over 2,000 cryptocurrencies, spanning major proof-of-work and proof-of-stake layer-one networks, Ethereum-compatible layer-two tokens, Solana-native assets, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, and privacy coins including Monero and Zcash. The range extends well beyond what centralized exchanges typically list, making StealthEX a practical option for users seeking exposure to smaller-cap tokens or niche protocols without setting up accounts on multiple venues.

Solana and its ecosystem are fully supported. SOL is available as both input and output across hundreds of pairs, including direct swaps against Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, USDT, and a wide range of altcoins. Solana-native tokens with sufficient liquidity can be included in cross-chain swaps without manual bridging steps — the routing is handled internally by StealthEX.

Fees and Costs

StealthEX charges a service fee of approximately 0.4% on the input amount, included in the quoted exchange rate shown before a user sends funds. Users also pay the blockchain network fee associated with the incoming transaction, which is deducted from the amount received by StealthEX before the exchange executes. Liquidity-provider trading fees from partner venues may apply on some pairs and are factored into the output estimate. There are no account fees, subscription tiers, or withdrawal fees imposed by StealthEX itself.

Privacy and KYC Policy

Most StealthEX swaps complete without any identity verification. The platform does not require an account, email address, or personal details as a baseline condition for use. KYC may be requested in specific circumstances — large-volume transactions that exceed internal thresholds, or cases flagged by the platform's AML screening layer. The platform maintains an AML framework that includes sanctions screening and enhanced review for higher-risk transactions. Fiat purchases routed through third-party card providers may require identity verification above approximately $900 or 700 EUR, depending on the provider's own compliance requirements.

StealthEX is not available to users in the United States, Japan, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, or Sudan.

Fiat On-Ramp

Alongside crypto-to-crypto swaps, StealthEX supports fiat currency purchases through third-party payment partners. Users can buy cryptocurrency using EUR, USD, GBP, or RUB via card payment. This route integrates KYC at the payment-provider level and is independent from the main non-custodial swap flow.

API and Partner Program

StealthEX provides a cryptocurrency exchange API for businesses and developers wanting to embed swap functionality into external products. Partners can integrate an exchange widget or use the API directly to add asset conversion capabilities to wallets, dApps, or financial tools. Partners configure their own additional fee markup on top of the base StealthEX rate, and the platform distributes partner earnings in Bitcoin. Integration is documented through the StealthEX API portal and is designed to complete within a few hours of development time.

Mobile Access

StealthEX offers an Android application available through the Google Play Store, providing the same swap interface as the web platform.

Hardware Wallet Support

The platform supports direct swaps initiated from hardware wallets, allowing users to exchange assets without first moving funds to a software wallet. This lets users maintain cold-storage custody throughout the swap process — funds leave the hardware wallet directly to the StealthEX one-time deposit address, and the output arrives at whatever destination address the user specifies.
