Quidli Platform
Quidli Platform provides hosted crypto reward infrastructure through social app integrations, enabling automated token distribution via Discord, Slack, Telegram, and email. The system manages custodial wallets while facilitating emoji-based transactions, bounty workflows, and batch reward distributions across multiple blockchain networks.
Quidli
Quidli is an identity and payment protocol that resolves social handles to crypto wallet addresses, removing the single biggest friction point in on-chain payments: having to ask someone for their address.
The Core Problem It Solves
Sending crypto today requires knowing a recipient's wallet address — a 32- to 44-character string that most people neither memorize nor casually share. Quidli eliminates that step entirely. Its Connect API accepts a handle from X (formerly Twitter), Telegram, Discord, GitHub, Farcaster, LinkedIn, or even a phone number or email address, and returns the verified wallet address linked to that identity. If the recipient has not linked a wallet yet, Quidli generates a non-custodial one for them automatically and routes the tokens there for claiming once they authenticate. The sender never has to know the difference.
The platform's tagline — "Send crypto to any social handle, no wallet address needed" — captures the mechanism accurately, but understates how much identity infrastructure sits underneath it.
How Quidli Connect Works
Quidli's primary product for developers is the Connect API, a REST service that maps social identities to wallet addresses on Ethereum and Solana. The flow is straightforward: a developer or application queries the API with a social handle, receives back a verified wallet address (or triggers non-custodial wallet generation for new users), and sends tokens through the normal on-chain flow. Quidli handles the identity resolution and wallet routing layer; the payment itself settles directly on-chain.
The API supports address lookup across multiple chains simultaneously — the same GitHub username can resolve to both an ETH address and a SOL address if the user has linked both. For recipients who have not used Quidli before, the system creates a wallet on their behalf and holds the tokens until they authenticate and claim, without requiring the sender to change their workflow or wait for confirmation.
Beyond simple address lookup, Connect also surfaces reputation scoring — a signal derived from a user's social graph that tells an application how established a given identity appears to be, without requiring KYC documentation.
Products and Interfaces
quid.li is the original consumer-facing interface. From it, users can drop tokens to contacts across Discord, Slack, Telegram, GitHub, Twitter, and email. The newer quidli.xyz extends that reach, adding X, Farcaster, LinkedIn, phone/WhatsApp, and multi-chain support including SOL, SLP20 tokens, and USDC on Base.
connect-mcp (installable via npx -y @quidli/connect-mcp) is Quidli's Model Context Protocol server — a plug-in for AI agent frameworks that gives any MCP-compatible agent the ability to resolve social handles to wallet addresses, check reputation scores, and initiate token sends. As of mid-2026, Quidli removed the API key requirement from the initial lookup tier entirely, so a developer can install the package, point it at a GitHub username, and receive a wallet address in a single round trip with no signup step required.
The quidli-overview GitHub repository describes Quidli's broader identity mission: transforming existing Web 2.0 social accounts into user-controlled identity primitives that span applications without centralizing personal data.
Solana Integration
Quidli added native Solana support when it integrated the Solana chain into its Connect API. The integration covers SOL and SLP20 tokens, non-custodial wallet generation for first-time Solana recipients, and routing through the same handle-resolution layer the platform uses for Ethereum. From a sender's perspective the flow is chain-agnostic: supply a social handle, send tokens, Quidli routes them correctly.
The Solana integration opens the Quidli distribution model — initially built around EVM chains — to Solana's throughput and low fees. Token drops, airdrop campaigns, and contributor rewards that previously required collecting raw wallet addresses can now target social identities, with Solana settling the transfers.
AI Agent Payments
Quidli's current strategic focus is positioning Connect as identity and reputation infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. The team frames this as the shift from "single-player" to "multiplayer" agents: where a single-player agent automates one task in isolation, multiplayer agents transact with each other on behalf of people who have never met. For that to function, an agent needs to know who it is dealing with — and be able to pay them — without either party manually exchanging wallet addresses or completing KYC.
The connect-mcp package makes this concrete. An MCP-enabled agent (such as one running via Claude or similar frameworks) can use Quidli to look up a collaborator by their GitHub handle, verify the reputation of that identity, and initiate a USDC or SOL payment, all within a single agentic session and with no human wallet-address handoff. Quidli also integrates with the x402 payment protocol, an HTTP-native standard that lets agents pay per-request in USDC with no billing setup, extending the social-identity resolution model into fully autonomous agent-to-agent commerce.
A demonstrated use case from August 2026 illustrates the point: a multi-agent setup identified a contributor's GitHub commit made the same day, confirmed the contributor's on-chain identity via Quidli, and paid them USDC on Base — all without additional human prompting and without anyone sharing a wallet address.
Team and Background
Quidli was founded in October 2018 and is headquartered in France. The founding team includes Justin Ahn (CEO) and Guillaume Figielski (co-founder and lead developer). The company went through SOSV's dlab 02 accelerator cohort and received seed-stage backing from SOSV, one of the more active early-stage blockchain investors globally. Quidli began as a crypto incentive tool for remote-first teams, distributing Bitcoin and other tokens as internal rewards through Slack integrations. It then broadened into a general-purpose social identity and payment API before its current pivot toward AI agent infrastructure.
Ecosystem Fit on Solana
Quidli operates at a layer that Solana's base protocol deliberately leaves to applications: identity. By mapping social presence to Solana wallets, Quidli makes it practical for Solana-native apps — DAOs, DePIN networks, agentic protocols, consumer apps — to pay contributors, reward users, or distribute tokens without requiring a traditional wallet-first onboarding flow. For the growing category of Solana-based AI agent networks, where agents need to transact with humans and other agents at machine speed, Quidli's social-handle-to-wallet resolution offers a privacy-preserving alternative to on-chain KYC or public address registries. The non-custodial wallet generation path also serves as a lightweight Solana onboarding mechanism: a recipient can arrive via a social payment and claim their tokens before they have ever held SOL or installed a wallet.
