Account creation requires no email, phone number, or personal information. Access is authenticated via a generated secret token. Dynamic card generation lets users create a fresh card number per transaction, preventing cross-merchant tracking.

Off Grid is not a Solana on-chain protocol and deploys no smart contracts. It functions as a custodial bridge: SOL and other crypto deposits are converted to a card balance, and spending occurs via Visa. For Solana holders this provides a path to everyday spending without routing through a KYC-gated exchange.

The service launched in late 2025 and as of mid-2026 onboards users through an invite or waitlist system at app.offgrid.cash.
