Holoworld

Holoworld is a platform for building AI characters, turning them into video content and social agents, and raising money around them as tokenized intellectual property, with agent ownership recorded on Solana. It is built by Hologram Labs and now describes itself as "the agentic app store", where creators can "create, play, and fundraise" for AI-driven apps and IP.

What Holoworld does

The project's pitch is that the next wave of characters and stories will come from individual creators using AI tools, not from studios. Holoworld packages that into a set of no-code products: a studio for producing AI video, a marketplace where AI agents are created and traded, a launchpad for funding new IP, and APIs for developers who want to plug agents into their own apps.

According to its documentation, agents built on Holoworld can talk, act and engage across platforms through text, voice and avatars, pull in live data and run tasks through plugins, and exist as IP that is verifiable on the Solana blockchain. The official site reports more than 1 million users, 700,000+ creations and 35 million+ interactions, and lists Pudgy Penguins, NYX Professional Makeup, Solana and Aww Inc. among featured partners. These figures are self-reported.

Ava Studio

Ava Studio is Holoworld's AI video production tool, which it calls an "agentic video production platform". A user supplies a prompt, media or a PDF, and the studio generates a short video with a script, consistent characters, multiple scenes, background music, sound effects and narration. A scene editor then lets the user change the script, visuals, voiceover, timing and music. Tutorials in the docs cover Studio Mode, Editor Mode, templates, cloning ads and a Campaign Mode, which points to marketing and ad production as a major use case alongside character storytelling.

Generation runs on third-party models. The models and credits page lists Google Veo for video clips, Google Imagen, Gemini Flash and OpenAI image generation for stills, and ElevenLabs for multilingual text-to-speech and sound effects. Usage is paid in Holo Credits: video costs 42 credits per second, voice 29 credits per minute, an AI image 4 credits, a Pexels stock photo 2 credits and a sound effect 1 credit, with Holoworld stating that prices include a 20% overhead for rendering, storage and performance.

Agent Market

Agent Market is Holoworld's launchpad and marketplace for AI agents. Creators set up an agent with its own personality, knowledge base, 3D avatar, wearables and animations, and can upgrade its skills over time. Each agent carries an ID card with a name, bio, voice and profile image. Agents can be deployed to X, YouTube, Twitch and other social platforms, and the docs include an X Agent Dashboard for running an agent's posting account. Agents have their own tokens, which users buy and sell through a swap interface on the market.

Holoworld's first agent token is AVA ([[TOKEN:DKu9kykSfbN5LBfFXtNNDPaX35o4Fv6vJ9FKk7pZpump]]), the token of its flagship character Ava. According to Binance Academy, users burn AVA to obtain Holo Credits, which pay for the platform's AI operations.

HoloLaunch

HoloLaunch is Holoworld's fundraising platform for AI-native IP, pitched as a way to "turn your followers into investors". Projects raise in USDC from supporters, launch with Holoworld's backing using what it calls a "transparent, luck-based system" that rewards active contributors with allocations, and then route trading fees back to project treasuries to fund buybacks. Holoworld says creators can use customizable presales, fair launches and their own economic design, and AI-generated video from Ava Studio is meant to drive promotion of each launch.

Its flagship sale was FIGHT, a combat-sports IP token whose issuer cites a multi-year UFC partnership. In January 2026 Holoworld announced that all FIGHT ICO contributions would be refunded to participants' addresses on BNB Chain and Solana, stating the team was "well-funded", and that 85 million FIGHT tokens would instead be airdropped to ICO participants, pass holders, campaign participants and HOLO stakers.

Developer tools and OpenMCP

For developers, Holoworld offers an Agent SDK plus a Studio API that generates video for an agent on demand and a Chat API that produces agent responses with Model Context Protocol support. Binance Academy describes Holoworld's OpenMCP as an open-source framework that lets AI agents interact with blockchains, smart contracts and dApps, including EVM-compatible chains. The site also lists always-on AI livestreaming for virtual characters as a coming feature.

The HOLO token

HOLO is Holoworld's native token, with a fixed supply of 2.048 billion. The token utilities page lists four roles: staking for rewards and access to HoloLaunch sales, governance over foundation programs and partnerships, funding creator incentives, and acting as the main medium of exchange on the OpenMCP network.

The published tokenomics allocate 20.93% to community growth, 18.4% to the foundation, 15.6% to core contributors, 13.46% to investors, 13.11% to ecosystem and marketing, 10% to initial community rewards, 5% to liquidity and 3.5% to advisors. Core contributor, investor and advisor allocations have a one-year cliff followed by three to four years of linear vesting. Initial circulating supply was about 347 million HOLO, or 16.96%.

HOLO began trading on Binance on 11 September 2025 as the exchange's 38th HODLer Airdrops project, with 30.72 million HOLO (1.5% of supply) set aside for that airdrop, as reported by The Daily Hodl and Binance Academy.

Team and history

Hologram Labs was founded in 2021 by Tong Pow and Hongzi Mao. Its first product let people take on pseudonymous avatar identities online, and it worked with NFT communities including Cool Cats, Deadfellaz and Crypto Covens. In July 2022 the company raised a $6.5 million seed round led by Polychain Capital, with Nascent, Quantstamp, Foothill Ventures and South Park Commons among the participants and Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda as an angel investor. Holoworld, the company's AI agent platform, followed in 2024.

No public security audit of Holoworld's contracts was found in its documentation.

Holoworld on Solana

Solana is where Holoworld records agent ownership and creation and where its agent tokens, including AVA, trade. The HOLO token and HoloLaunch sales also reach BNB Chain users, and OpenMCP targets EVM chains, so Holoworld runs on several chains while keeping its agent layer on Solana. The official X account remains active in September 2026 and has said it is working on connecting AI, real-world assets and IP as "the next chapter of Holoworld".
