gmAI
What Is gmAI?
gmAI describes itself as "The Operational Layer for Solana AI." Founded in early 2024, it is infrastructure designed to let developers add AI capabilities to Solana-based decentralized applications without building AI pipelines from scratch. Rather than offering a single AI tool, gmAI provides a shared substrate — compute, data, and pre-trained models — that application builders can call into.
The core premise is that AI-native crypto applications need three things that no individual team can efficiently self-supply: real-time blockchain and social data, compute for running and fine-tuning large language models, and a deployment abstraction that bridges AI outputs to on-chain actions. gmAI attempts to supply all three through a single coordinated layer.
The Problem It Solves
Integrating AI into Solana dApps today requires a developer to independently source training data, rent centralized GPU compute, maintain model versioning, and wire AI responses to on-chain transactions. Each of those steps is costly and introduces centralization risk. gmAI replaces that patchwork with a shared decentralized system: node operators contribute compute, community participants label and validate data, and the resulting AI models are made available to any application that integrates the platform.
Core Architecture: gmINFRA
The foundational product is gmINFRA, described as the first AI Multi-Agent and Multi-LLM system built for blockchain. At its heart is gm-01-8B, an 8-billion-parameter language model trained on Solana ecosystem data and currently in beta. The multi-agent design means that rather than a single model handling all tasks, specialized agents collaborate — some focused on transaction execution, others on data retrieval, others on risk analysis — and multiple LLMs can be composed together to improve accuracy and reliability.
Infrastructure operations split into three functions:
- Model Tuning: Node operators contribute GPU resources to fine-tune the base model against new on-chain and off-chain data streams.
- Model Serving: Tuned models are served through the same decentralized node network, providing redundancy and reducing single points of failure.
- Data Aggregation: On-chain data (DeFi metrics, chain activity, smart contract events) and off-chain data (social sentiment from Twitter, Discord, Telegram) are continuously ingested, validated, and enriched. Community participants do the validation work and earn $GM tokens in return.
This design means the AI layer improves over time as more operators contribute compute and more community validators approve data — a feedback loop that aligns incentives between the protocol and its participants.
Ecosystem Products
gmAI is not purely infrastructure; it also ships application-layer products that demonstrate the platform's capabilities and serve as live integrations.
Intent.Trade is an AI-powered trading platform built on top of gmINFRA. It uses multiple LLMs and agents to automate on-chain trades, surface market signals, and help users set trading parameters including memecoin strategies. The platform handles non-custodial DeFi automation — meaning the user retains control of their keys while agents execute strategies on their behalf.
AnotherUs functions as a personalized AI companion for crypto users. It provides technical analysis, assists with code-writing tasks, and delivers on-chain insights. The product is positioned as a "digital twin" — an AI version of the user that can navigate the Solana ecosystem, fetch data, and explain complex protocol interactions in plain language.
gmMODEL is a developer-facing toolkit that exposes gmAI's AI capabilities to third-party builders. It includes chatbot functionality and API endpoints — including a Stream API and Swap API — that let developers build their own AI-enhanced products without replicating the infrastructure layer.
gmAI Mini App is a Telegram-based onboarding product that doubles as a data labeling system. Users label data through the mini app and receive $GM tokens as compensation. This creates a low-friction entry point for community participation while generating the labeled data the AI layer needs for continuous fine-tuning.
gmID is a separate initiative that provides beta access credentials for early participants entering the platform ecosystem.
The $GM Token
gmAI's native token is $GM, deployed on Solana at contract address GMai1NvHreNe135cvxya1gHaUJZiT1NAvbJkF4hPHQJ9. Total supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 tokens. The distribution is designed to weight community ownership heavily:
- 55% — Community rewards, with linear vesting over 8 years
- 20% — Investor allocation (pre-sale, 100% unlocked at Token Generation Event)
- 15% — Liquidity and early adopter airdrops
- 10% — GM Foundation, with linear vesting over 6 years
Transactions carry a 6% buy/sell tax that flows back into the ecosystem treasury.
The Anchor Program allows $GM holders to stake their tokens in exchange for $xGM, the staking derivative that earns yield from protocol participation. The Data Validating Program — launched in October 2024 — provides additional earn mechanics tied directly to the community's role in labeling and validating the AI training data.
This dual-program approach links token value to genuine protocol activity: the more data the community validates and the more models the node network serves, the more utility the $GM/$xGM system has.
How It Fits Solana
gmAI chose Solana deliberately. Solana's high throughput and low transaction costs make it the most practical chain for AI-driven automation that might execute dozens of on-chain actions in rapid succession — a pattern that would be prohibitively expensive on Ethereum mainnet. The platform's roadmap flags multi-chain expansion as a future milestone, but the architecture, training data, and initial product suite are all Solana-native.
The platform's integrations — Intent.Trade active, developer toolkit listed as upcoming — suggest a staged approach: prove the AI layer with consumer-facing trading products first, then open the infrastructure to third-party builders once the core system has demonstrated reliability under real usage conditions.
Team and Security
gmAI does not publicly disclose its founding team or individual contributors. No security audits for the core smart contracts or AI infrastructure have been publicly announced as of the date of this writing. Prospective users and developers should conduct independent due diligence and treat the platform as early-stage infrastructure while audits and team disclosures remain pending.
