Fridon AI

Fridon AI was an open-source, AI-powered cryptocurrency platform built on Solana, designed to let users interact with blockchain analytics and on-chain operations through a natural-language chat interface. The project positioned itself as a unified workspace where complex crypto tasks — price analysis, coin discovery, wallet operations, and real-time alerts — could be handled through conversational commands rather than manual navigation across DeFi dashboards. The official website (fridon.ai) and the hosted chat application (chat.fridon.ai) are no longer accessible as of mid-2026, and the project's Twitter account has been silent for an extended period.

Platform Architecture

Fridon AI was built around a modular plugin system. Each plugin was implemented as an LLM agent with its own set of tools and domain-specific logic. A central routing layer — built using LangGraph — evaluated incoming user messages and dispatched them to the appropriate plugin. Redis handled message queuing between the NestJS backend and the Python-based AI brain, while PostgreSQL stored persistent data. Docker Compose was provided for self-hosted deployments.

The five core modules were:

FridonAnalytics handled cryptocurrency price analysis and visualization. Users could ask for price history, generate charts via natural language (the project called this TextToChart), model the trading strategies of specific wallets, predict coin risk profiles, and analyze protocol-level user churn.

FridonSearch enabled coin discovery through technical indicator queries and chart-pattern similarity matching. Rather than searching by name or market cap, users could describe a chart shape or a set of indicator conditions and the system would return matching assets using time-series similarity models.

FridonNotifier allowed users to configure custom market alerts. Notifications could be triggered by personalized indicator thresholds or by tracking the on-chain behavior of specified wallets.

FridonBlockchain translated text commands into on-chain actions — token swaps, balance lookups, and other standard Solana operations — without requiring users to interact directly with a wallet interface.

FridonChat served as the unified entry point, routing all user requests across the other plugins through a single conversational session.

The codebase was released under the MIT license. Developers could build and publish their own plugins using the fridonai-core pip package and a companion community repository. The architecture was intended to make Fridon AI extensible beyond the team's own modules.

Hackathon Origins and Recognition

Fridon AI was submitted to QuickNode's Build On hackathon in November 2024, a competition that drew over 1,800 applications and carried a prize pool exceeding $275,000. The project won first place in the CoinPaprika sponsor track, recognizing its use of CoinPaprika's market data API for technical indicator calculations and price history retrieval. It also received two additional awards: QuickNode's Best Overall Project and Best Use of Marketplace Add-ons. The team placed in the PYUSD sponsor track as well.

The lead developer behind the project was Nika Losaberidze.

Technology Stack

Fridon AI used Python for its AI brain, LangChain and LangGraph for agent orchestration, NestJS for the API layer, Redis for inter-service messaging, PostgreSQL for storage, and the OpenAI API for language model inference. Market data was sourced through integrations with CoinPaprika and QuickNode. The Solana blockchain served as the execution layer for on-chain actions.

The GitHub repository accumulated 76 stars, 17 forks, and over 800 commits before development activity slowed.

Token

Multiple tokens with the FRIDON name appeared on Solana through pump.fun after the project's launch period. These were community-created pump.fun tokens rather than tokens issued or endorsed by the Fridon AI team. No official token contract or tokenomics documentation was found in the project's own materials.

Current Status

The primary domain (fridon.ai) and the hosted chat application (chat.fridon.ai) both fail to resolve as of August 2026. The project's X account (@Fridon_AI) has produced no public posts within the observable window. The GitHub repository remains publicly accessible. Fridon AI appears to have ceased active development and operations following its initial hackathon period in late 2024.
