Cosmostation Wallet
Cosmostation Wallet is a non-custodial, multi-chain wallet supporting multiple blockchain networks, including Cosmos SDK chains, Ethereum, and Bitcoin. It provides transaction signing, staking delegation, IBC transfers, and dApp interaction from a single interface across mobile and browser extension. Private keys are stored locally on the user's device and never transmitted externally.
Cosmostation
Cosmostation is an interchain blockchain infrastructure company founded in Seoul in 2018. The company operates two core product lines: a professional validator business securing proof-of-stake networks, and a suite of non-custodial wallet applications enabling users to manage digital assets across a wide range of blockchain ecosystems. As of 2026, Cosmostation runs more than 230 validator nodes across 50+ networks and supports over 80 blockchain networks in its wallet software.
Validator Operations
Cosmostation's validator infrastructure spans a broad portfolio of proof-of-stake networks, with particular depth in the Cosmos ecosystem. The company operates nodes for major Cosmos chains including Cosmos Hub (ATOM), Osmosis, Neutron, Celestia, and dozens of other IBC-connected networks, as well as selected EVM-compatible chains, Bitcoin, Aptos, and Sui. According to Staking Rewards, Cosmostation holds an AA performance rating—their highest tier—reflecting consistent uptime and participation in on-chain governance across the networks it validates.
Cosmostation's validator infrastructure manages over $578 million in assets under management. The company operates globally distributed node infrastructure optimized for the latency and reliability requirements of consensus participation. Cosmostation is ISO 27001 certified (the international information security management standard) and holds KIPO certification, indicating formal third-party audit of its security practices.
Wallet Products
Cosmostation provides non-custodial wallet software across mobile and browser platforms:
- Cosmostation Wallet (iOS and Android): A mobile wallet supporting 80+ blockchain networks with integrated staking management, governance voting, and transaction history.
- Cosmostation Extension: A Chrome browser extension wallet designed for dApp interactions across supported networks.
The wallets give users full custody of their private keys and enable interaction with staking mechanisms, IBC token transfers, and decentralized applications on supported chains. Governance participation is a notable feature: Cosmostation surfaces active proposals from networks where the user holds delegated stake, supporting informed participation in on-chain governance.
Mintscan and the Cosmos Labs Transaction
Cosmostation developed Mintscan, a widely used block explorer for the Cosmos ecosystem that aggregates on-chain data, governance proposals, validator information, and IBC relaying statistics across Cosmos networks. In June 2026, Cosmos Labs—the non-profit steward of the Cosmos Hub—acquired Mintscan and approximately fifteen members of Cosmostation's team to integrate the explorer more closely with Cosmos Hub development.
The Mintscan acquisition reorganized Cosmostation's activities without ending the company. Following the transaction, Cosmostation's validator operations and wallet products continue independently under the Cosmostation brand, while the Mintscan explorer transitions to Cosmos Labs' stewardship. The split reflects a common pattern in infrastructure businesses where the tooling layer and the node operation layer have distinct acquisition profiles.
Ecosystem Position
Cosmostation occupies a dual role in the interchain ecosystem. As a validator, it contributes to network security and decentralization across more than 50 proof-of-stake networks and participates in governance on behalf of its delegators. As a wallet provider, it offers one of the more comprehensive multichain interfaces for the Cosmos IBC ecosystem, where fragmented chain support has historically made it difficult to manage assets across the interconnected network of Cosmos zones.
The company's deep roots in the Cosmos ecosystem date to 2018—early enough that Cosmostation helped build category conventions around multichain validator operations and ecosystem tooling, including Mintscan, before those conventions were standardized. Its AA rating from Staking Rewards and ISO 27001 certification distinguish it from smaller operators in a segment where trust and uptime track record determine delegation flow.
