In June 2026, Cosmos Labs—the non-profit steward of the Cosmos Hub—acquired Mintscan and approximately fifteen members of Cosmostation's team to integrate the explorer more closely with Cosmos Hub development.

The Mintscan acquisition reorganized Cosmostation's activities without ending the company. Following the transaction, Cosmostation's validator operations and wallet products continue independently under the Cosmostation brand, while the Mintscan explorer transitions to Cosmos Labs' stewardship.
