OctonetAI

OctonetAI is a decentralized AI platform built on Solana that combines GPU compute infrastructure, AI model tooling, and blockchain-native developer utilities under a single ecosystem. The project launched in November 2024 with the stated goal of making AI infrastructure more accessible and affordable for developers, businesses, and researchers by using Solana's throughput and low transaction costs to coordinate a decentralized compute marketplace.

Core Mechanism

The tool generates IDL JSON files, compiled .so binaries, and full source code, and can auto-generate frontend UIs for deployed programs. Alongside OctoMCP, the project is developing an AI Audit system designed to autonomously review Solana programs for security vulnerabilities using specialized language models. The OCTO token is OctonetAI's native asset on Solana, with a total supply of 100 million tokens. The token was issued via pump.fun, Solana's permissionless token launchpad, rather than through a structured token sale or venture-backed raise.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

OctonetAI is built natively on Solana and targets the Solana developer ecosystem directly. OctoMCP generates and deploys Solana programs, OctoNode settles GPU rewards on-chain, and OctoWallet is designed specifically for Solana asset management. In May 2025, Anatoly Yakovenko (Toly), co-founder of Solana Labs, publicly endorsed the project in the context of the OctoMCP beta launch — a signal of visibility within Solana's core developer community.
