Choise

Choise.com was a crypto financial platform that positioned itself as a "MetaFi ecosystem" — its term for a product combining centralized finance (CeFi) tools with access to decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. The Lithuanian operating entity UAB Choise Services entered voluntary liquidation on April 1, 2025, and the platform has been non-operational since. Users reported being unable to withdraw funds, and the official website now displays no substantive content.

From Crypterium to Choise.com

Choise.com traces its origins to Crypterium, a crypto banking project that ran a large initial coin offering in late 2017 and early 2018, raising roughly $50–52 million. Crypterium built a mobile app offering crypto-to-fiat spending via a debit card, cryptocurrency exchange, and bank transfer services.

In June 2022, the company rebranded publicly as Choise.com. Founder and CEO Vladimir Gorbunov described the transition as "the next step in Crypterium's evolution," with the stated goal of connecting CeFi and DeFi "across multiple blockchains, protocols, wallets, and liquidity pools." At the time of the rebrand, the company reported more than 700,000 registered users and turnover of approximately €230 million in 2021, according to its own announcement.

Products and Features

Under the Choise.com brand, the platform offered two broad product categories.

On the CeFi side: users could store and exchange digital assets, use the Crypterium Debit Card to spend crypto at point-of-sale, transfer funds via bank wire, and access fiat on-ramps and off-ramps. Cryptocurrency price insurance on BTC and ETH was also offered, letting users hedge against short-term price drops.

On the DeFi side: the platform provided access to external protocols and decentralized applications through a product called Charism. This included yield farming, liquidity pool participation, lending protocols, and staking of the platform's native CHO token in exchange for APY rewards and token airdrops.

Token History

The original ICO token was CRPT, issued during the Crypterium fundraise. Following the Choise.com rebrand, the company introduced the CHO token as a replacement. In 2024, Choise.com initiated a CRPT-to-CHO token migration, exchanging the original token for CHO via a centralized swap with lock-up periods and a bonus structure for early participants. CRPT traded at a fraction of its ICO price by the time the migration was announced.

Shutdown and Liquidation

The liquidation decision was made internally on or before March 18, 2025, the date Choise.com told users their balances would be converted to USDC at the Kraken exchange rate. UAB Choise Services filed under Lithuanian voluntary liquidation law effective April 1, 2025, according to Lithuania's business register, where the entity's status became "Likviduojamas" (under liquidation).

Users began reporting an inability to withdraw funds in mid-2025. Support messages directed them through a claims verification process, with a document-submission window that closed by September 30, 2025. As of that date no official communications acknowledged the missed timeline or provided updated guidance to customers.

Choise.com did not disclose the liquidation status on its website or official social media channels during this period. The official X account (@choiseai) went silent. By mid-2025, Trustpilot had collected 194 reviews of the platform, 84% of which were one-star, with the majority citing inability to access funds and unresponsive support.

The platform's domain, choise.com, remained registered but returned no substantive content as of September 2026.

Status

Choise.com is inactive. Its operating entity is in liquidation under Lithuanian law, withdrawals are frozen, and the platform no longer functions. The project should be considered discontinued.
