Baltex

Baltex provides cross-chain infrastructure enabling token transfers and swaps across multiple blockchain networks through unified APIs and routing protocols. The platform integrates cross-chain bridging for asset movement, DEX aggregation for price-optimized routing across decentralized exchanges, and privacy-enhanced swap workflows. It offers developer APIs for interoperability, decentralized trading, and confidential transaction routing.

Baltex

Baltex is a non-custodial cryptocurrency swap platform founded in 2025 and headquartered in Jaco, Costa Rica. Its central offering is private cross-chain swaps: a mechanism that routes user funds through Monero's privacy protocol to completely sever the on-chain trail between a deposit address and a payout address, making transactions resistant to chain analysis. The platform also supports standard high-speed swaps and DEX routing, giving users a choice between privacy, speed, or decentralized liquidity depending on their needs.

How It Works

Baltex operates as a routing and execution layer that aggregates liquidity from three distinct sources: centralized exchange orderbooks, on-chain automated market makers and DEX ecosystems, and non-custodial swap providers. The protocol exposes a consistent interface across all three liquidity domains, selecting the optimal path for any given swap.

When a user chooses Private mode, the process unfolds in four steps. First, the user selects a trading pair and activates Private mode on the Baltex interface. Baltex then generates a single-use deposit address unique to that transaction. The incoming funds are routed through Monero's shielded network, which uses ring signatures, stealth addresses, and RingCT to break all on-chain linkability. Finally, the destination asset is delivered to the user's specified wallet. According to the platform, there is zero traceable connection between the original deposit and the final payout.

Private swaps typically complete in 10 to 20 minutes, with processing time largely determined by Monero network congestion at the time of the swap. Standard swaps settle faster. The platform also offers fixed-rate options for users who want price certainty rather than market-rate execution.

Swap Modes

Baltex offers three distinct modes.

Private Swaps use Monero as an intermediary privacy layer. No KYC, no registration, and no persistent account is required. A one-time deposit address is generated per transaction. This mode targets users who need genuine on-chain privacy rather than just pseudonymity.

Standard Swaps prioritize speed and route directly through the most liquid available path across CEX and DEX sources. These settle faster than private swaps and carry the same non-custodial guarantee.

DEX Routing connects to on-chain liquidity pools across EVM-compatible chains, enabling fully decentralized settlement for users who want to avoid any centralized intermediary even in the routing layer.

Supported Networks and Assets

Baltex supports more than 10,000 tokens across more than 200 blockchain networks. Major chains include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Monero, TRON, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, Avalanche, and TON. The platform's crypto bridge connects Layer 2 and EVM chains including Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Solana.

Solana (SOL) is a natively supported asset. SOL can be swapped into Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, stablecoins, and other assets using either Private or Standard mode. This makes Baltex a viable exit and entry ramp for Solana users who want cross-chain access without creating an exchange account.

The platform also offers a fiat on-ramp supporting Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay for users who want to enter crypto directly.

Fees and Economics

Fees start at 0.4%, which the platform positions as among the lowest in the cross-chain swap industry. Baltex does not have its own governance or utility token. There is no staking mechanism or protocol-native tokenomics. Revenue comes from swap fees charged at the time of execution.

Team and Company

Baltex is incorporated in Jaco, Costa Rica. The public-facing team includes CMO Andrei K. and founder Evgeniia Iarmenko. The founding year is listed as 2025. No external fundraising has been publicly disclosed.

Key Milestones

In November 2025, Baltex launched fully cross-chain private swaps, announced via a Chainwire press release. The launch extended private swap support beyond BTC-XMR pairs to cover the full 200-plus network catalog.

In March 2026, Baltex announced XMR-to-TRX private swaps completing in as little as 20 minutes, highlighting improvements to cross-chain routing speed for Monero-originating transactions.

As of July 2026, the platform continues publishing regular ecosystem content and is active on social media.

Security and Audits

Baltex operates a non-custodial model throughout: the platform never takes custody of user funds at any point in the swap lifecycle. The platform references audited smart contract infrastructure and carries a 4.3 to 4.5 star rating on Trustpilot. A specific named audit firm and published audit report have not been publicly disclosed in available materials.

Solana Ecosystem Fit

Baltex is relevant to the Solana ecosystem primarily as a cross-chain liquidity bridge. Solana users can convert SOL and Solana-based tokens into assets on other chains, including privacy-preserving conversions into Monero, without creating exchange accounts or undergoing KYC. The platform aggregates CEX and DEX liquidity so that SOL pairs benefit from competitive rates sourced across multiple venues. Baltex has also highlighted RWA token swaps across chains in recent social posts that explicitly reference Solana's growing RWA holder base.
